Brewster Kahle (SHS Class of '78) has recently been profiled for his efforts to backup the backups of our digital culture. Kahle is best known as the founder of the Internet Archive, which takes snapshots of the web and is engaged in one of the world’s most extensive book digitization projects.

Congratulations to Judy Cheng-Hopkins (SHS Class of '70) for being named one of the 10 Most Powerful Women at the UN by Forbes. Cheng-Hopkins was appointed as Assistant Secretary-General of Peacebuilding Support by Ban Ki-moon in 2009.
