Fellow SHSers may be interested to read an article on my brother Jed Hilly (SHS class of '79) that just came out in the March issue of Nashville Arts Magazine.

I thought I would mention that he is a graduate of the SHS Alternative School, and also Hampshire College.   I am proud and feel privileged  to be the sister of the Executive Director of the Americana Music Association. To see my brother in action I get to witness that which we were working toward back in the 70's with the creation of the "A School"-preparing students for creative careers in  areas they were  passionate about. Plus I have been able to hear some really amazing artists playing the most awesome music!
