It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Carol Medinger (maiden name Carol Christie) on August 24th, 2017. Carol died peacefully at Four Seasons -Elizabeth House Hospice. She was very proud of her SHS experience and felt it prepared her for her life. Several of her friendships remain to today. 

Roger Eugene Benjamin (SHS 1943) died at his home in Palm Beach, Fla. on November 14, 2016 at age 91. Born in New York in 1925, he graduated from Williams College in 1946, and worked as a shopping center developer and leasing agent based in Cleveland. He is survived by his wife Linda, sons Robert and James, and stepchildren Mary Jane, Jennifer, Lisa, Cindy, Laura, and Joshua.

Richard Key Mead, MD, FACP, 85, died on Monday, 11 January, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital in the company of his beloved wife,
Virginia Irma (Abrams) Mead.

He was born in Houston, TX on 18 October, 1930 of the late Brian Mead and Lucy (Key) Mead. His secondary education was conducted in New York and completed at Le Rosey in Rolle, Switzerland. He received a BS from Haverford College (Class of ’52) and received his MD from Cornell School of Medicine (Class of ’56).

Adam Bloom, of Nantucket, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 in his home on West Chester Street. He was 33. Adam was born March 3, 1982 in Santiago, Chile. He grew up in Scarsdale, N.Y. and spent time on Nantucket every summer of his life.

Adam graduated from Scarsdale High School in 2000, attended Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. and received a sound-engineering certificate from the Institute for Acoustic Research in New York City.

Anne Luise Link. Donaldson, 91, died August 11 at home in Orleans, Massachusetts, surrounded by family. She loved family and friends, and maintained extended family ties over generations, opening her doors to guests up until her death. She loved nature and turned respect for the environment into a life's work.

Alonzo Barnard Kight, 99, of Palm City, FL, passed away on September 12, 2014 at Martin Medical Center, Stuart, FL.

Paul D. Shuwall, a longtime resident of Manchester-by-the-Sea, died peacefully at home on March 6, 2016.

Alexander R. Vaccaro of River Vale, NJ.  Born on April 2, 1929, in Scarsdale, NY, to Alexander and Elvira Vaccaro, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his home in River Vale, NJ.
