Eve Ensler (SHS 1971) introduces James Lecesne at TMI fundraiser in Kingston

Eve Ensler, left, playwright, performer, feminist and activist best known for her play "The Vagina Monologues", introduces Academy Award-winning screenwriter, author, actor and co-founder of the Trevor Project James Lecesne, at the TMI Project Voices in Action 2018 Benefit and Storytelling Showcase at BSP in Uptown Kingston on Saturday night.

Lecesne was one of four recipients of the Agents of Change Awards given during the fundraiser. Other recipients included Kingston High School social worker Amy Kapes, Director of Library at the A.J. Williams-Myers African Roots Center Odell Winfield, and Co-founder of Moonfarmer and Evolving Media Network Kale Kaposhlin.

The TMI Project's mission is to have storytellers become agents of change for social justice by bravely and candidly sharing the “too much information” parts of their stories, the parts they usually leave out because they’re too ashamed or embarrassed.
