Showtime has bought Vinyl, a spec script about the music industry in the 1970s, co-written by Todd Katzberg, Scarsdale High School '96.

Vinyl and Katzberg received coverage last month from Deadline.com – a must-read Hollywood blog.

Katzberg graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, Calif. He now lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles.
