2006 Distinguished Alumnus O. Rogeriee Thompson '69 - former Rhode Island Superior Court Judge was recently appointed by President Obama to serve as a full judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.

She is the first black person and the second woman holding this position.
