Robert Lawton (Class of '86) studied film production at New York University. In 1997 he became Vice-President at Ladenburg, Thalmann investment Bank in New York. In 2005, he transitioned into filmmaking with a script he wrote, directed and acted in Sex and Sushi. In 2009 he wrote the story & co-wrote the screenplay for a film tentatively entitled CRAVE (Watch Trailer). Crave stars Ron Perlman & Edward Furlong and is the directing debut of Charles de Lauzirika. Lawton currently manages a New York based hedge fund.
