Henry Fountain, a science writer for the New York Times, recently wrote an article on the White House´s science adviser, John Holdren, and his influence on Obama´s environmental policies. Mr. Holdren, who has had a very prominent career in academia and policy-making, has been very instrumental in shaping many of the administration’s policies, ¨including its biggest on climate change — the plan to cut power plant emissions of carbon dioxide, the main contributor to global warming.¨
