Masarof Michael (SHS 1997)

WRITER, DIRECTOR, ACTOR

“Don’t compromise yourself. It’s all you got.” -- Janis

No wonder Michael Masarof is our youngest Distinguished Alumnus. The words above from his senior yearbook capture him perfectly.

He is a young man of transcendent talents. He has already accomplished much and promises so much more The Scarsdale High School Alumni Association is not the first Organization to have honored him. In 2003 he won Spike TV’s GQ Man of the Year Award, and in 2007 the Craft Award for Sound and the Goethe Institute Short Film Competitions.

As an actor he starred in Kissing Jesica Stein and 18 Fingers of Death.
