The Body of an American, written by Dan O'Brien (SHS '92), will play a limited engagement in New York

DanOBrien.jpgThe New York premiere of Dan O'Brien's play The Body of an American will play a limited engagement February 10 through March 20 at Primary Stages at the Cherry Lane Theatre. Opening night is set for February 23. Dan O'Brien was honored as a Scarsdale Distinguished Alum in 2011.

Winner of the 2014 Horton Foote Prize for Outstanding New American Play and the Inaugural Edward M. Kennedy Award (shared with All The Way), The Body of an American tells the true story of an extraordinary friendship as two men, a war photojournalist and playwright, journey from some of the most dangerous places on earth to the depths of the human soul.
