Four-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Walking Dead, Golda’s Balcony) will star in the Bay Street Theater's world premiere of Wade Dooley’s The Prompter, the first show of the 2019 Mainstage Season.
Helmed by Bay Street Artistic Director Scott Schwartz, performances are scheduled for May 28–June 16. Playwright Dooley (Jersey Boys) will co-star.

But now, she can’t do it alone; the production hires young actor Wade (Dooley) to be her prompter. Based on real events, the play offers a heartfelt, untold, behind-the-scenes look at Broadway through the eyes of a young dreamer.
