Sandy Evans '63 and her new book "Cassandra"

Sandra Bruck Evans '63 new book.

I would like to share with you that my husband, John, and I, have just completed the second book in a fiction series called “CASSANDRA”. It was originally intended for the Young Adult audience, but we’re finding that people of all ages are enjoying it. The first book in the series received positive reviews.

Fellow alumni,

My name is Sandra Bruck Evans. I graduated form Scarsdale High in 1963. My classmates knew me as Sandy Bruck.

I would like to share with you that my husband, John, and I, have just completed the second book in a fiction series called “CASSANDRA”. It was originally intended for the Young Adult audience, but we’re finding that people of all ages are enjoying it. The first book in the series received positive reviews.

The second book was just released a few days ago as a two-books-in-one volume called, “CASSANDRA – Book One & Book Two”.

The paperback is on Amazon here.

I’m happy to report that Book One was accepted by and is being recorded for The Braille Library Talking Books Program. They have requested that we allow them to record Book Two, “Cassandra & The Lost City of Troy”. We told them that we were honored to have CASSANDRA included in The Talking Books program.

Click Here to open a PDF of a review of Book One, “CASSANDRA”, and an interview that I did for a literary website in Sussex, England, so that you might have some background information on the project.

Best regards,

Sandy Bruck Evans (class of ‘63)
