Join us on an Alumni Trip to Peru!

SUMMARY
UBELONG cofounder Cedric Hodgeman (SHS ’00), Sanskruti Mehta (SHS ’00) and Ricardo Garcia (SHS ’97) are organizing an exciting trip for fellow Scarsdale Alumni to attend with their significant others/friends.  We are going to Cusco, Peru to do great  volunteer work for a week and then hike the Inca trail to experience the sunrise in Machu Picchu! We invite you to read all about the trip in this page and let us know if you are interested in joining us. The deadline to register is March 21st.

JOURNEY
The team arrives in Cusco Saturday May 21 and begins volunteering on community projects May 23. Saturday May 28 the team hikes the Inca Trail and arrives to Machu Picchu May 29.

PROJECTS
Team members volunteer in a shelter for sexually abused girls, geriatric center, kindergarten or after-school center. All locations host development projects serving disadvantaged local communities.

COST
US$800, which, among other things, includes pre-departure preparation, housing, meals and a two day/one night guided visit of Machu Picchu. Not included are airfare to Cusco, travel medical insurance and miscellaneous spending.
